My name is Ryan Topacio & I am 43 years old.
I started riding motorcycles in 2000 & learned how to ride on a 1997 Kawasaki Ninja ZX7.
In 2005 I bought a brand new Kawasaki Ninja 636 & took it to the racetrack. Raced til 2010 & ended up selling my bike.
I've always had my eye on cafe racer styled motorcycles & was itching to get back on 2 wheels.
In 2016 I found my current 1983 BMW R100.
Overall the bike is stock other than the rear frame being chopped to shorten the seat, the handlebars are different & the firestone tires complete the look.
I have been going to Matt @ BlackKat Motorwerks in Tarzana CA to get the bike mechanically running correct.
This bike gets a lot of attention from both riders & non riders because it is classic & unique.
It is constantly evolving but this bike is as reliable as any new bike. I just make sure to do the proper maintenance to keep the bike running optimal.
